When will the race start?

The first-ever Mettle Games event is launching 5K and 10K OCR races on January 17 and 18, 2025.

To find out your start time: whether you’re in the Pro or Open category, be sure to check your competition details and wave start times on the registration page. Get ready to crush it!

Are there prizes?

Yes, of course, there will be prizes for all Elite and Age Group categories. We will announce them on Instagram a few weeks before the race date.

What will all participants get?

All participants will receive a finisher t-shirt, medal, head bandana, bag, and many other awesome items from our sponsors and partners.

In the Pro categories, such as the Elites and Age Groups, participants will earn trophies, cash prizes, and other unique benefits.

What are the PRO categories?

If you are a Pro athlete or striving to be, the PRO categories are for you. They differ from the Open category in many ways, such as video recording protocols and much higher race standards enforced throughout the course, along with stricter penalties and cut-off times.

The Open Categories

It is very good for testing yourself as you enter the Pro levels. Mettle Games is all about raising the standards. We don’t mind if you only want to do the Open category, but we highly recommend developing some wit and mettle and taking a chance in life every once in a while. To simply DO MORE.

How about the team categories

We have two new main team categories: one where you can complete the entire 5K OCR race as part of a team of 4, or as a team of 2 with your son or daughter.
